Double celebration 🎊🥳

Yesterday was one of the most memorable nights in my life. Yes, it was memorable for me because I celebrated not only the birthday of one of my favourite cousin brother Lakshya (Bhaiya) (who is very bright) but also the finale of World Cup T20I Cricket. It enthralled me as I am a proud Indian and a huge fan of cricket.  This match was extremely crucial for India to win, as India had not won the world cup since 13 years.  This was a fine Saturday evening and we all were chilling at the Birthday party while watching the match at the luxurious restaurant called "Tama". It was a family get together and we ordered the food after a lot of discussion. While enjoying the scrumptious cuisines and dishes I watched the match with complete attention and was thrilled. I relished the food and the match along with my family . The opponent in this match was South Africa. The match was a complete roller coaster ride where the odds were getting certain and uncertain for both the teams. 

 
                                        

It was fun to watch the spectacular batting from the Indian team and I felt tensed in the last 4 overs of bowling for India as the South African team seemed to be easily chasing the score of 178. However the wonderful Indian bowlers kept their cool, coped up  and saved the Indian team, they were just commendable. The one catch taken by Surya Kumar Yadav was miraculous, it definitely saved a lot of runs and also the hope to win. I felt the tension in the last 3 balls especially. But our magical Indian team pulled it off, yesss! we won the match. Hip Hip Hurray! The entire team got extremely emotional on achieving the world cup after such great pressure. I also reduced to tears on the announcement of Virat Kohli's and Rohit Sharma's retirement.  I was elated for the success of the Indian team. This night was truly exciting and was worthy of a double celebration. Definitely an icing on the cake on my favourite brother's Birthday.

Percy Jackson : A Splendid Fantasy Genre Read

This book was centred over an adolescent boy Percy Jackson, with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder ( ADHD ) and dyslexia who comes to know that he is the son of Poseidon, in ancient Greek religion, god of the sea  ( and of water generally ), earthquakes, and horses. He goes to a camp called Camp Half-Blood and discovers that he is a demigod ( half human–half god ).   After facing series of harrowing trials he achieves victory and peace.
